The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Professional Services:
Basic services of the funeral director and staff: $1,395

Our charge for the services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to: staff to respond to initial requests for service; an arrangement conference with family or responsible party; coordination with cemetery, crematory, or other parties involved in final disposition of the deceased; preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and permits; and sheltering of remains.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving of remains.

Embalming: $495
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

These three totals are for the items indicated above with following exceptions: either a funeral ceremony or a memorial service is included; these totals do not include additional equipment and staff for graveside service, nor do they include sanitary care of the un-embalmed remains or a family vehicle.

 Additional Options

Forwarding of Remains to Another Funeral Home: $2,075
Our charge for this service includes removal of remains, necessary authorizations, embalming, and necessary services of staff. This charge does not include any visitation, rites, or ceremonies; nor does it include transportation to the airport.

Receiving of Remains from Another Funeral Home
Our charge for this service includes temporary shelter of remains, local transportation of remains to final disposition, and basic services of staff. This charge does not include any visitation, rites, or ceremonies; nor does it include transportation from the airport.

Direct Cremation: $2,125 to $2,375
Our charge for this service includes:
removal of remains, necessary authorizations, sanitary care of un-embalmed remains, cremation, and basic services of staff. This charge does not include the cremation permit fee (required for Sullivan and some other counties); it also does not include any visitation, rites, or ceremonies.

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are made of compressed fiberboard.

Immediate Burial: $2,000 to $2,870 Our charge for this service includes removal of remains, sanitary care of un-embalmed remains, local transportation to cemetery, and basic services of staff. This charge does not include any visitation, rites, or ceremonies.
