Callie Elizabeth Bledsoe
Callie Elizabeth Bledsoe, 89, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 22, 2015. Callie was a loving mother and enjoyed gardening, cooking and visiting with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Bledsoe; sisters, Lona Robinette, Elma Robinette, Cora Robinette, Etta Osborne and Hazel Livesay; and brothers, Kellie Robinette and Eunice Robinette.
Callie is survived by her daughter, Christine Hickam and husband, Bill; son, Jim Bledsoe and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Andrew Hickam, Stuart Hickam, Leslie Jobe and Matthew Bledsoe; step-grandchildren, Jason Boyd and Katelyn Robbins; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Ora Johnson, Dan Robinette and Jeanette Bloomer, all of Dayton, OH; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thank you is extended to Kathy Blankenbeckler and staff for their loving care.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-7:00 pm at Mafair United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Burnice Sybert officiating.
The graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday at 9:00 am at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
