Dolly Dianna Bowman

Dianna Bowman, 70, of Kingsport, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 to be with her heavenly Father. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family. Dianna was a loving and caring person to all she knew. She enjoyed crafts and embroidery. Dianna especially loved driving trucks with her husband. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her Bible devotions.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Gerhart; sister, Brenda Joyce Jordan.

Dianna is survived by her husband of 37 years, Orville Bowman; daughters: Dianna Lee Weaver and husband Charles, Penny Lynn Cagle and husband, Charlie, Jackie Baines Hill and husband, Barry; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister: Margaret Ash and husband, Robert; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friend: Kathy Mullins.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with funeral services following at 8 p.m. with Rev. Ellis Robertson and Pastor Preston Patrick officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 10:45 a.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles Weaver, Charlie Cagle, Barry Hill, Dustyn Booker, Derrick Booker, and Clinton Bryson.

Honorary pallbearers are Landon Cagle and Levi Hill.
