Ed Harward

Ed Harward, 74, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at his home. Born in Durham, NC, he had resided in Fall Branch for the past seven years. He had retired from Edgecomb Clothing Manufacturing Company in Tarboro, NC. Ed and his wife, Vicky owned and operated J & C Grill in Williamston, NC. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fall Branch.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Harward, and parents, Otis and Helen Harward.

Ed is survived by his wife of 27 years, Vicky Harward; son, Randy Harward; five daughters, Jamie Winders and husband, Ronnie, Missi Campbell and husband, John, Heather Jobe and husband, Harold, Crystal Harward and fiancé, Walter Farrow and Bridget Harward and fiancé, Rafael Santorios; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and special family friends, Charles and Tina Gouge and children.

A special thanks to Amedysis Hospice for the excellent care they gave Ed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Victor Wallace and Chaplain Ron Owens officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Fall Branch Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Fall Branch Cemetery Fund, 1525 Highway 93, Fall Branch, TN 37656.
