Eva L. Farmer

Eva L. Farmer, 81, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014. She was born in Valley Creek, TN and retired as an RN from Holston Valley. Eva was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Elise Comparoni, and siblings, Jack Comparoni, Pete Comparoni, Cecilia Lay, Rena Lambdin and Sandra Ayers.

Eva is survived by two sons, Dan Farmer and wife, Martha, and Tim Farmer, both of Kingsport; daughter, Maria Norton and husband, Ernest of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Jonathan Norton and wife, Jessica, Kayla Norton, and Anna Buck and husband, Joe; two great-granddaughters, Mariah Norton and Arianna Buck; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 4-6:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport or at anytime at the home of her daughter, 2228 Hiwassee Dr.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 1, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Boniface Catholic Church Cemetery, Jellico, TN, with Father Mike Nolan officiating.
