Ilene Morelock

Ilene Morelock, 90, Kingsport, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County and was of the Baptist faith. Ilene had retired from ITT.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Minor, and two sisters, Pauline Hunt and Dorothy McKenzie.

Ilene is survived by her daughter, Gail Morelock of Kingsport; two grandchildren, Robin Bragg and Lisa Bear; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Alexandra Bear; and nephew, Harvey Conkin of Church Hill.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Dr. Bobby Bernard officiating. Those attending committal services are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 p.m.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff on the third floor of Wilcox Hall and to the staff of Wellmont Hospice.
