Laura Erena Gullett

Laura Erena Ball Gullett, 83, of Fall Branch, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born in Princess, Kentucky on September 10, 1931, a daughter of the late Marcus and Martha Bellamy Ball, she had resided in this area since 2005, moving from Greenville, SC. She was of the Methodist faith and will be remembered as a loving and devoted mama, granny, sister and friend who loved to spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Edward Gullett, Jr. and grandson, Lance Lowe, three sisters and two brothers.

Laura is survived by her daughters, Delores Whitley and husband, Bill of Seneca, SC, and June Lowe and husband, Roger of Fall Branch, TN; two grandsons and wives; one granddaughter and husband; five great-grandchildren; and brother, John W. Ball of Mansfield, OH.

There will be a private family burial at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 2, 2015 at Glenwood Cemetery, 839 Bluff City Highway, Bristol, TN 37620, with Rev. Millard J. Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 1020 19th St, Suite 475, Washington DC 20036.
