Mark S. Strickler, 62, Mt. Carmel, died on Friday, August 22, 2014 at his home. Born in Kingsport, he had resided in Mt. Carmel since the age of 9. He attended Palmer Memorial Center, graduating and receiving the Handicap Client Award of the year from the Shelter Workshop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman S. and Roberta B. Strickler.
Mark is survived by family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 2-3:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow the funeral service in Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
