Mary Ann Light, 87, of 444 Bay Street, Mount Carmel, TN, died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Holston Manor in Kingsport.
Mary was born in Sullivan County where she resided until moving to Mount Carmel sixty years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Light in 2003; sister, Purnie Thacker; and two brothers, David Wagner and Oscar Wagner.
Surviving are her two daughters, Imogene Light and Shirley Light, both of Mount Carmel; one son, Bobby G. Light and wife, Ruth Ann of Bassett, VA; and one granddaughter, Rhonda Ann Light.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Chaplain Mike Pelham officiating.
Interment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
