Orville Steadman

Orville Steadman, born to N.E. and Stacy Steadman on March 2, 1935, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, with family and friends at his bedside. Orville retired from J.P. Stevens after working there for 35 years. He loved his family very much and was blessed with many good neighbors and friends.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 54 years, Wanda Steadman; son, Michael Steadman; grandchildren, John Keith, Steven, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Scotty, Kaley, Bradley, Landon, Stephanie, Jolene and Jaycob; brothers, J.D. and J.C. Steadman; sister, Barbara Morelock; and lots of beloved nieces and nephews.

It was Orville's wish to be cremated. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
