Patricia Donihue

Patricia "Patsy" Donihue, 67, of Kingsport, died Wednesday morning, January 21, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. Patsy was a Lynn View High School graduate and Walter State College graduate. She had worked at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center as a registered nurse for many years. Patsy was a member of Westview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Donihue, Jr.

Patsy is survived by her son, James Donihue III and wife, Karen Daniel of Knoxville; two grandchildren, Temperance Daniel and Caressa Daniel; great-grandson, Christian Rae Daniel; three sisters, Debra Head of Kingsport, Joan Oaks and husband, Tiny of Kingsport, and Jeannie Fannon and husband, Floyd, of Johnson City; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 1-3:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Mike Stout officiating.

The graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11:30 am at Mountain Home National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Westview Baptist Church, 1037 Fairview Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37660.
