Terry Neal Epperson

Terry Neal Epperson, 54, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord, early Sunday morning, September 28, 2014, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, following an unexpected illness. Terry was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and had lived in Kingsport most of his life, graduating from Sullivan West, class of 1976. He served in the U.S. Army having been a combat medic. Terry was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Madeline Epperson.

Terry is survived his wife, Lori Epperson of the home; daughter, Leah Jordy and husband, Donny of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Logan, Madison and Kara; brothers, Gary Epperson and wife, Carol of Virginia, Clifford Epperson and wife, Patricia of Church Hill, TN, and Kenneth Epperson and wife, Gayle of Kingsport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Posts 3/265.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
