Timothy Ewing

Timothy Daniel Ewing, 53, of Church Hill, TN, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

He was born in Kingsport and had resided most of his life in Church Hill. He had graduated from Kingsport Christian School in 1980. He had attended Northeast State University. Timothy was employed at the Fort Henry Mall in the maintenance department. He attended the Church of God. He was an avid UT football fan and enjoyed fishing. He was a loving father, son, and brother.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Ewing.

He is survived by his daughter, Katie Ewing; son, Aaron Ewing; grandson, Damian Ewing; mother, Fern Collins Ewing; sister, Pauletta Hite and husband, Tom; brother, Terry Ewing; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm on Sunday at McPheeters Bend Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Woody Wyatt and Rev. Arthur Collins officiating. Music will be provided by Elijah Woods.

Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Ewing, Brandon Powell, Junior Collins, Brian Collins, Jonathan Ewing, and Ted Collins.
