Tommy E. Stout

Tommy E. Stout went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, October 22, 2014. Born in Knoxville, TN, he had resided in Kingsport for most of his life. He was an employee of Loven Ready Mix until his retirement due to poor health. Tommy was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were two sons, Michael W. Stout and Johnny L. Stout; parents, Marshall Stout and Myrtle Stout; two sisters, Ruby Buckner and Ruth Carey; and six brothers, Virgil Stout, Robert Stout, Jeff Stout, Grady Stout, John Dock Stout and Nathaniel Stout.

He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 55 years, Barbara June Boyd Stout; two sons, Jeffery Stout and wife, Karen of Knoxville, TN, and Timothy Lynn Stout and friend, Vicki Shade of Kingsport, TN; special daughter-in-law, Loretta Stout; four granddaughters, Melissa Salomon and husband, Brandon, Lisa Marie Stout, Shaina Harvey and Jordan Smith; nine great-grandchildren; a special niece, Wanda Johnson and husband, Ronnie and friends at George Washington School Apartments; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jim Bishop, Richard Lane, Gerdy Kroll, Junior Dykes; several church friends and Pastor Kelly Dykes; and good friends, Rev. Tim Nelson and Rev. Clinton Ramey.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Kelly Dykes and Rev. Tim Nelson officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
