Vincent Hobart Ball

Vincent H. Ball passed away Friday, August 15, 2014, at his home of an apparent heart attack.

He was born in Hawkins County and resided there most of his life. Mr. Ball was a loving husband father, grandfather, and brother. He worked more than 40 years at Holston Auto Supply and Big M Auto parts as a Sales Representative. Mr. Ball previously attended North Fork Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Ball was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Edith Mowell Ball; his wife, Pansy Ball; and one son Vincent H. Ball II.

Survivors are his daughter, Pam Bachman and husband Bill, Kingsport; his son, Matthew Ball and wife Mary Ann, Anderson, SC; one grandson, Jerod Bachman, Kingsport; and his sister, Twyla Starnes, Kingsport.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:30 until 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rhonda K. Hobbs officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Mowell Cemetery in Hawkins County.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Mowell Cemetery Fund, 3536 Goshen Valley Road, Rogersville, TN 37857.
