Diana Castle

Diana Leigh Castle, 54, of Kingsport, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at her residence. Born in Sullivan County, TN on August 24, 1963, a daughter of Phyllis Mitchell Castle, she had resided in this area her entire life. Diana graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1981 and attended Northeast State Community College and ETSU. She was a longtime member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. Diana retired from Wellmont Health Systems following approximately 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Jessica Laughlin (2012) and an infant brother, Rex Allen Castle.

Diana is survived by her former husband, Randy Perry of Church Hill; mother, Phyllis Mitchell Castle of Kingsport; 2 sisters, Deborah Castle of Kingsport and Sherry Castle Haynie and husband, Joe of Church Hill; brother, Jason Castle and wife, Michelle of Beauford, SC; 2 nephews, Andrew and Tyler; and her pet dogs, Winslow and Rylee.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 4-6:00 pm at Crossroads United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Randy Lantz officiating.

The graveside service will be conducted on Monday at 10:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Hyder, Mark Gage, Randy Perry, Jerry Collins, Jeff Collins and David Collins.
