Dorothy A. Morelock
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Gennie Bernard; infant sister, Frances Lee Bernard; and brother, Gerald D. Bernard.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, B. Glenn Morelock; daughter, Ava Osterman and husband, Mark of Gray, TN; son, Aaron Morelock and wife, Jennifer of Gray, TN; four grandchildren, Jacob Morelock, Alyssa Morelock, Rachel Osterman and Michael Osterman; sister, Betty Light of Rogersville, TN; three brothers, James Bernard of Rogersville, TN, Fred Bernard and wife, Linda of Rogersville, TN, and Ted Bernard and wife, Tonya of Kingsport, TN; several nieces and nephews; and several special in-laws.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00pm with Rev. Jack Morelock officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 pm in Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rogersville.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Chase, Mark Bernard, Greg Bernard, Donald Bernard, Travis Bernard and Orgie Sherfey. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Bourne, Leland Gott, David Kline and Sam Horne.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, 115 Broadway, Suite 1301, New York, NY 10006, 214-349-2910.
The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff of Wilcox Hall for their compassionate care.

Dear family we were sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. We always enjoyed seeing her at the reunions. May all your good memories give you comfort at this difficult time. God Bless all of you. Ava and Family, We were so sorry to hear of her sickness and then to find out about her passing. But, we are thankful we were able to get to know Dorothy better over the last few years.
