Geneva Andis

Geneva Andis, 90, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 14, 2018 following a brief illness. A native of Flat Top, WV, she has lived in this area all of her life. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, she enjoyed spending quality time with all her family. Geneva had a gift of serving and making those in her care comfortable. She was always helping those in need and a lover of all animals. Geneva attended Gunnings Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hunter Smith; second husband, George Andis; mother, Kansis Lilly; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Smith.

Geneva is survived by her children, Harlan Smith of Oklahoma, Gary Smith and wife, Barbara of Nashville, TN, Doris Adams and husband, Paul of Fall Branch, TN, and Andrea Ayers and husband, Dennis of Afton, TN; several grand, great and one great-great-grandchildren; and several granddogs and grandcats.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Kiwanis Towers with Chaplain Michael Driver officiating.
