Marjorie Ann Fenstermaker Atwood, 94, died peacefully at her home on June 22, 2018. She was born on November 1, 1923 in Rochester, Indiana, daughter of Anna Town and Albert Fenstermaker. She was married in 1944 to John Rex Atwood and subsequently lived primarily in Mundelein, Illinois and later Kingsport, Tennessee where she was a member of St. Dominic's parish. She worked for Borden Chemical Company, the Libertyville Independent-Register, and the Waukegan News Sun, and was an active member of the Waukegan Sail & Power Squadron.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, sister Betty, and brother James.

Marjorie is survived by a sister Georgia McKeone, daughter Sharon Siirola (Jeffrey), grandchildren John Siirola (Rochelle) and Jennifer Beltramo (John), and greatgrandchildren Zachery Siirola, Kathryn Siirola, and Savannah Beltramo.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Baysmont Asbury Place and In-Home Care Services for their loving assistance in Marjorie's final years.

Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois.
