Ray Littleton

Ray Littleton, 89, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 30, 2018, at his home with his loving family by his side. He retired from Eastman after 40 years of service. Ray was a kind hearted, giving, and caring man who always put others first before himself. He loved his Lord and loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Enos and Fannie Littleton; son, Carl Littleton; grandsons, Josh and Jonathan Light; brothers, Glen, Burt, and Jack Littleton; and sister, Effie Light.
Ray is survived by his three daughters, Brenda Shelton and husband Gene, Jannie Nicholas, and Susan Light and husband Rick; one son, Joe Littleton and Becky; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie Honeycutt, Madeline Depew, and Betty Morelock; one brother, Ralph Littleton; special nephew, Kent Wallen and family; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Brenda Shaw, Geneva "Jenny" Keplinger, Patti Burleson, and Melissa Miller.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch, or anytime at the home. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Brother Dan Dolen officiating. Music will be provided by Downpour.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Wallen, Todd Littleton, Jacob Light, Joseph Light, Danny Littleton, Rick Light, Julia Light Laney, Joe Laney, and Jessica Littleton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Littleton, Joe Littleton, Kent Wallen, E.B. Moore, John Hite.
