Aaron Lee Bailey

Aaron Lee Bailey, 50, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 24, 2025. Aaron was born on February 3, 1975 and was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. He was a graduate of Sullivan Central High School, class of 1993, where he was a member of the football team. He attended classes at Northeast College and was contracted through Eastman Chemical Company and worked as a material handler, forklift operator and supervisor. Aaron enjoyed working out at the gym, listening to music and attending concerts. He was a fan of mustang cars.

Aaron loved the Lord and spent his life serving him. He was a kind and generous person who never met a stranger. He attended Browders Chapel in Hiltons, VA.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Kent Bailey; grandfather, Emory Rhoton; grandparents, Oscar Bailey and Kathleen Bailey.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Brenda Bailey; brother, Eric Bailey (Rita); niece, Shay Bailey; special aunts, Linda Holtzclaw and Phyllis Sullivan (Ron); uncle, Jerry Bailey; grandmother, Ruby Rhoton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. 

A graveside service will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Goode Cemetery 1794-2162 Goode Hollow Rd., Duffield, VA 24244, with Preacher Kaleb Kitzmiller officiating. Guests are asked to meet at 1:45 p.m. at the cemetery.
