Angelina "Angie" Jones

Angelina “Angie” Jones, 82, passed away on April 24, 2024, at Greystone Healthcare, Blountville, TN.  Born in Bronx, NY, she has lived in this area since 1973.   She worked for many years in food service with the Sullivan County School system.  She was a loving wife and mother.   

Angelina was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Margaret Dadabo; one brother and one sister.

Those left to cherish Angie’s memory are her husband of 55 years, Fred Jones; daughter, Margaret Jones (Steve Hanna); two sons, Wayne Jones (Kim) and Chris Jones; 4 grandchildren, Mamie Grace Jones, Silas Matthew Jones, Elisha David Jones and Julian Raiford; brothers, Lenny and Michael Dadabo; sister, Rosemarie Jones; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the chapel at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2630 Hwy. 75, Blountville, TN.   The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm with Pastor James Sproles and Pastor Dennis Burnette officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Resurrection.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Jones, Brian Jones, Steve Hanna and Douglas Price.
