Ann Franklin

Ann Franklin, age 65, of the Bloomingdale Community, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 20, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a graduate of Ketron High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. 

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Franklin; and parents, Fred and Big Mom Frazier. 

She is survived by her companion, Ray Kindle; daughters, Sharon Dean and husband, Alex; Jessica Hurd and husband, Josh; son, Dave Kindle and fiancé, Erica Brooks; grandchildren, Summer Dean and fiancé, Cody Powers, Holly Dean, Parker Dean and fiancé, Lacie Necessary, Lynnzi Hurd, Jaxson Hurd, Gabby Kindle, Cody Goode, and Walker Brooks; sisters, Kay Price and Libby White; nephews, John Wright and Nick White; and two special dogs, Scruffy and Raider. 

The family will receive friends from 12pm – 1pm on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Joe Hill officiating. A burial will follow at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery. 

The family will serve as pallbearers.
