Ann Hixson Thompson, 82, of Kingsport passed away Sunday November 18, 2007.
She was a member of Stateline Baptist Church and a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Yates Thompson; daughter, Patricia Young; son, Michael Young; her parents, Grover and Gladys Hixson.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol Ann and son-in-law, James Jim Crawford, Kingsport; daughter of the heart, Judy Wood, Kingsport; grandchildren, Jonathan Young, Brandi Duty, Justin Hill, Angel and Hunter Crawford and Jennifer Crawford; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Abigail Young, Jasmine, Jason, and Jayden Crawford; special friends, Betty Houseright, Dorothy Dye and Johnny Hill.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport or anytime at the home of her daughter, Carol Crawford, at 912 Mimosa Drive Kingsport, TN. 37660.
Funeral Services will follow at 7p.m. with a eulogy given by a dear friend, Charles ?Bob? Derrick, and music provided by Jerry and Lea Hammonds.
