Ben Fields

Ben Fields, 63, Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Ben was a Vietnam War Veteran having served with the U.S. Navy. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Liz Fields; his son, Ben Fields and wife, Jennifer; four grandchildren, Emilee, Tyler, Brett, and Blake; two sisters and two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday At Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Malone officiating.

The graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by The American Legion Posts 3/265. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
