Bettie Hurd
Bettie Hurd, 80, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2011 at Greystone Health Care.
She was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church and Women of the Moose.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hurd; her parents, and a brother.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane Smith and husband, Jimmy of Johnson City; son, Bill Talley and wife, Sue of Kingsport; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will begin at 8 pm with Dr. Greg Burton officiating.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Monday in the Emma Jarnigan Cemetery in Morristown.
