Billy Paul Littleton

Billy P. Littleton, 70, Jonesborough, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a life-long resident of Washington County and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Littleton was retired from Textile Industries in Gray. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

Preceding him in death were his parents, J.C. and Delena Littleton.

Surviving are his wife, Pauline Littleton, Jonesborough; two sons, Dwayne Littleton, Jonesborough, Ronnie Littleton, Jonesborough; one daughter-in-law, Lynette Slagle, Jonesborough; three grandchildren, Josh Littleton, Elijah Littleton, and Harley Littleton; three sisters, Elsie Whitaker and husband Roy, Jonesborough, Etta Wilson, Kingsport, and Judy Taylor and husband Terry, Limestone; one brother, Ernie Littleton, Surgoinsville; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.

Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Eddie McAmis officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, November 20, at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
