Bobbie Sue Baines

Bobbie Sue Baines, 69, Kingsport, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 with family by her side. Bobbie was the daughter of the late Charlie C. and Ruby Ella Bateman Hall and was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County. Bobbie graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and received a medical transcription degree from Tennessee College of Applied Technology. She loved to travel, was an avid reader, and enjoyed arts and crafts. The most important thing in Bobbie’s life was her dog, Fancy, which she considered her best friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie C. and Ruby Ella Bateman Hall; brother, Farley Adair Hall; sisters, Minnie Evelyn Calhoun and Lorene Alderman; nephews, Joe Lynn, Kimball, and Johnny Hughes; and her best friend, Fancy (dog).

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Ginger D. Branham (Tommy); son, Jason Baines; grandchildren, Allison Cutshaw (Philip), Logan and Madison Branham and Lukas Baines; nieces, Tammie Reichert and Penny Kitzmiller; ex-husband, Jimmy Dale Baines; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
