Brenda Louis Light

Brenda Louise Light, 74, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord and her children on Thursday, August 13, 2015. She spent her days raising her grandchildren, who she considered as her own. Brenda was a strong woman, and a loving and caring grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Light; parents, Gladys and Willard Woliver; children, Jonathan Light and Vicki Dunn; sisters, Mattie Woliver and Phyllis Tesnear; and brother, Kenneth Woliver.

Brenda is survived by her grandchildren, Jessee Light, Joseph Light, Ariel Light, and Victoria Reynolds; several great and great-great grandchildren; brother, Ricky Woliver; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Tommy Carter.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 18 at 6 p.m. at the home of Joe Light, 1405 Stratford Road, Apt. C. Kingsport, TN. Any food, floral arrangements, or visitors will be received at the residence.
