Camille Yvette Waye

There are no goodbyes. Wherever you’ll be, you’ll be in my heart.” – Gandhi

Camille Yvette (Wilson) Waye, age 56, of Kingsport, passed away in comfort and love on Friday, February 2, 2024 surrounded by family. Camille was born in Asheville, North Carolina and was the daughter of Paul and Madelyn (Radford) Wilson, who preceded her in death.

Camille worked at the Kingsport Senior Center as an event coordinator before moving to Chandler, Arizona. In her later years, Camille worked as a Recruiter in both Ocala, Florida and Gray, Tennessee. Camille was a member of Charity Baptist Church. She was an outgoing spirit who never met a stranger.

She leaves behind a daughter, Samantha Wilson of Kingsport; son, Conner Waye of Kingsport; brother, Joe Wilson and wife Stephany of Jonesborough; and two very special nieces, Ella and Kallie Jo Wilson.

Camille became a second mom to all who knew her and created a family of friends who always had a welcome spot in her home and heart.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Mission Hospital ICU for the expert care, kindness and compassion that they provided to Yvette and her family.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8pm on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
