Carlene Jo King

Carlene Jo King, 94, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Church Hill Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center.

Carlene was preceded in death by her parents, Iven and Nora Horton and seven siblings.

Survivors include her son, Mark Suthers and wife Mary Lynn; grandchildren, Travis Suthers and wife, Angela, Shane Suthers and wife, Amber; great-grandchildren, Bella, Everly and Elliott; siblings, I.E. Horton and wife Polly and Naomi Harris; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Horton Roller Cemetery, Fairview VA, with Pastor Andrew Greene officiating.
