Carolyn “Kay” Pearcy-Williams, 78, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully in her home, Monday, January 15, 2024. Kay grew up in the Bell Ridge area, but lived most of her life in the Lynn Garden community and was a graduate of Lynn View High School. She loved animals. She had several cats and a dog named Sadie, who was her very close companion. She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed flower gardening. Kay enjoyed being a caregiver and spent the latter part of her working career caring for others through Home Instead.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Williams; parents, Elmer and Jerline Anderson; sister, Betty Smith; and nephew, Greggory Black.
Survivors include daughter, Heather P. Doub and husband, Chad; grandchildren, Emily Doub and Rachel Doub; sisters, Ida Lou Black, Kimberly Shepherd and husband, Lowell; brother, Bill Anderson and wife, Deane; special nieces, Beth Black and Jessica Burrell; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and the many friends and folks she looked after at Home Instead.
