Cleo Smith

Cleo Grace Smith, 82 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. She retired from J.P. Stevens. Cleo will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Cleo was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Crawford and her son, Michael Copas.

Survivors include her children, Donnie Copas and wife Misty, Steve Copas and wife Karen, daughter Lisa Shelton and husband Ralph; son-in-law, Wayne Crawford; nine grandchildren and special granddaughter, Amanda Senn.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Wayne Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Eastern Star FWB Church Cemetery.
