Courtney Alexandra Reed

Courtney Alexandra Reed, 31, passed away on May 9, 2024, at her residence. Born in Johnson City, TN, she had lived in this area her entire life.

Bold, Brilliant and Beautiful, Courtney was born brave and full of personality. Her piercing blue eyes and charming personality would fill a room. She had the ability to turn strangers into friends.  Courtney loved animals but her greatest love of all was for her three sons; Coy, Killian & Cainan.

Courtney was predeceased in death by her infant son, Killian Jude Reed-Way; maternal grandparents, Bob and Jean Barlow; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Flo Reed; nephew, Boston Clarke Reed; and the father of her children, Joseph Way.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Clarke and Sherry Reed; sons, Coy Alexander Reed-Way and Cainan Craig Reed-Way; sisters, Stefanie Gustafson (Jeff), Mallory Pate (Matt); brothers, Chris Lewis, Garrett Reed (Ashley) and Austin Reed; nieces and nephews, Corbin, Brayden, Jocelyn, Brooklyn, London, Eden, Jonah, Mason and Sydney; her fiancé Robert Arnett Jr.;  special friends, Katie and Daniel; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will host a visitation on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, 2630 Hwy. 75, Blountville, TN.  A Celebration of Life will follow from 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Larry Shropshire officiating.
