Dale ?Bill? Scalf, 63, of Fall Branch, passed away Friday, February 2, 2007 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Bill retired from Phillips Consumer Electronics after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Johnson Lodge and Jericho Shriners Temple.
In May 2006 Bill accepted the Lord as his Savior.
His parents, Claude and Gladys Scalf preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Scalf of Fall Branch; one son, Mike Cooke and wife, Barbara of Fall Branch; two grandchildren, Zachary and Zane; one brother, Don Scalf and wife, Lynn of Palm Coast, FL; a niece, Jennifer; a nephew, Christopher; and an aunt, Julie Dykes.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Services will follow at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert York and Rev. Charles Fields officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Depew's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Wanda Grills, 1217 Radcliffe Avenue, Kingsport, TN 37664.
