Dan H. Moore

Dan H. Moore, 68, Kingsport, died early Tuesday morning March 6, 2007 at his home.

A lifelong resident of Kingsport, he was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dan was the former owner of Roy B. Moore, Inc.

He was a Deacon, Elder, and choir member of First Presbyterian Church in Kingsport. Dan was also active in Meals on Wheels and KCMC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Roy B. Moore.

Survivors include his wife, Audra Miller Moore of Kingsport; a daughter, Christy Moore of Eagan, Minnesota; a son, Daniel H. Moore, Jr. of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Marilyn M. Davis and husband Lee of Kingsport; and several nieces and a nephew.

There will be a graveside service at 11 am Friday March 9, 2007 at Oak Hill Memorial Park. A memorial service will be at 11:30 am Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsport. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
