The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff and residents of Asbury Place of Kingsport for their friendship and support to Dan for the past few months of him living there as a resident. He made many friendships at a phase of life where friendships are the most needed. He smiled and spoke often of his new breakfast and lunch buddies that helped him pass the time. We also would like to thank the staff of The Waters of Kingsport for the current ongoing care of his wife, Twalla, and all the medical and emotional support they also provided to Dan and family for the past year. In addition, we would like to extend our appreciation for all the compassionate care he received from Ballad Health/Holston Valley Medical Center in the ER, ICU, Comfort Care Wing, and the Ballad Health Hospice Group during his brief stay there.
