Daniel "Danny" Simpson

Daniel "Danny" Simpson, 61, of Fall Branch, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He retired from tele-optics after many years. Danny loved his cat and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Rachel Simpson; brother, Steve Simpson; an infant sister; and his foster father, Fred T. Simpson.

Danny is survived by his sisters, Sharon Gaddy, Karen Roberts & husband, Ronnie, and Brenda Hughes and husband, Bill; brother, Randy Simpson; foster mother, Ruth Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Bob Simpson officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at McPheeters Bend Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
