Dannie Paul Dingus

Dannie Paul Dingus, Kingsport, 67, went over the rainbow bridge on September 13, 2022.  Born in Kingsport, TN, Dannie worked as an RN for many years at Holston Valley Medical Center, The VA Medical Center in the ICU and in management and was most recently the director of Providence Clinic in Kingsport.  He was known for his love of Arabian horses, both showing and raising them.  Dannie also loved jersey cows and farming.  He had a wicked sense of humor and a great joy for life.  Dannie was the best husband a woman could want. He greatly loved his children, grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by many.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Teresa Dingus; daughter, Alicia Bentley; son, Travis Dingus and wife, Allison; grandchildren, Alyssa Bentley and Chloe King, Austin Allen, Anthony Dingus, Issac Dingus, Jacob Dingus and Haleigh Dingus; and great-grandson, Joseph Allen.

 

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.  The memorial service will follow at 8:00 pm with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating and a presentation by the Nurses' Honor Guard.
