Darion Handy

Darion “D” Handy passed away November 25, 2025. Born in Rocky Mount, VA, he had lived in various parts of the country where he shared his friendship, love and gifts with many. He loved the outdoors, experiencing nature, and playing video games.

He leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Herb and Dawn Handy; son, Dreyden Handy; brothers, Quinn and Devin Handy; maternal grandparents, Robert and Thelma Zanelli; longtime girlfriend, Deannamarie Balasamo and his Connecticut parents, Dexter and Tish Hardgrove.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 1:30pm Monday December 15th, 2025 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Garden of Peace.
