Darlene "Dot" Morelock

Darlene “Dot” Morelock, 86, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Born in Hawkins County, she had resided most of her life in Sullivan County. Dot was a member of Gospel Mission Church. She loved playing cards, sitting on her porch, and especially spending time with her family.

Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Morelock; parents, Tobe and Bonnie Crawford; brother, Ross Crawford; sisters, Edna Light, Mae Morelock, Lori Morelock, Thelma Whetsel, Ruth Wallen, Hazel Bragg, Faye Lamb and Linda McAmis.

Survivors include her son, Allen Morelock and wife, Trish; grandsons, Travis Morelock, Dallas Morelock and wife, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Bentley, Grayson, Aubree, Carter, Dawson and Kennedy; sisters, Opal Taylor, Kathy Dolen and husband, Roy, Sue Dolen and husband, Tim; special sister-in-law, Iva Nell Crawford; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Light Cemetery, with Rev. Darrell Williams officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dallas Morelock, Allen Morelock, Robert Littleton, Jeff Wallen, Elijah Crawford, and Carter Martin.
