Darlene Starnes

Darlene Starnes, 65, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 21, 2020, after an extended illness. She was a loving mother, mamaw, and friend to everyone she knew. She was well respected by her community. Darlene’s house was always open for a hot meal or a good conversation. She will surely be missed, but her loving heart will always be remembered.

She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Paul Starnes; and ex-brother-in-law, Roy Starnes.

Darlene is survived by her sons, James Starnes and fiancé Brooke Christian, and David Starnes; and grandchildren, Taylor Christian, Daniel Starnes, and Jayden Starnes.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow.

Burial will follow at Old Kingsport Cemetery.
