David "Dave" Lee Thomas

David “Dave” Lee Thomas, 66, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2026 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Dave was born in Meadowview, VA. He graduated from Sullivan Central High School. Dave married his wife of 23+ years in 2003, he was a loving and caring husband. Dave owned and operated Dave’s Mobile Home Service, a business he adored and worked for many years. He was such a hardworking man and if he was not working, he was with Linda. The most important thing to Dave was his family, being a papaw was his pride and joy.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Kenny and Joyce Thomas.

Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Thomas; son, John Quillen; stepdaughter, Nikki Whitaker; daughter, Audrey Thomas; grandchildren, Cooper Whitaker, Sophie Thomas, Levi Clark; special niece, Aimee Clark (Lee); three distant brothers and one sister; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
