Denver Ray "Denny" Kitzmiller Jr.

Denny Kitzmiller, 62, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2024, at Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport, TN.  Born in Kingsport on March 20, 1961, he was the son of Denver Ray and Linda Lou (Roberts) Kitzmiller and resided in Kingsport his entire life.   Denny loved his family and treated his niece and nephew like they were his own as well as two great-nephews, Riley Denver and Harley James Royston, who were spoiled rotten.  He was a sports nut and a proud supporter of the Tennessee Vols. Denny loved playing softball and was noted for being a “great outfielder”.     Denny retired from Tennessee Eastman after over 30 years of service.   He attended Celebration Church in Blountville.

Mr. Kitzmiller was preceded in death by his father, Denver Ray Kitzmiller, Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Lou Kitzmiller; brother, Brent (Ellan) Kitzmil1er; niece, Taylor (Brent) Royston; nephew, Zak Kitzmiller; great nephews, Riley Denver and Harley James Royston; aunts, Paulette Everoad, Diana Roberts and Clara Kitzmiller; uncles; David Roberts, Dwight (Phyllis) Roberts; and several cousins with a special mention of his softball teammates who he considered family.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
