Donnie Douglas

Donnie Douglas, 76, of Kingsport, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2024, following a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and was of the Baptist faith. Donnie was a very kind and simple man that loved his family, his dog, Princess, and his friends and neighbors.

Donnie was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Douglas; parents; two sisters; one brother; and one brother-in-law.

He is survived by his sisters, Deloris Crawford and husband Gene, Charlotte Kistner and husband Jimmy, Marie Carter and husband Wallace, and Donna Gilliam; his adopted daughter, Rhonda Lovejoy; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6pm – 7pm on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Blountville. Funeral services will follow at 7pm with Pastor Roger Gray officiating.

Entombment will take place in the mausoleum at Hamlett Dobson Memorial Park.
