Earl Fagans

Earl Fagans, 76, passed away on December 22, 2013. He was born March 7, 1937 in Johnson City, TN. Earl was a retired truck driver and an SCSO Auxiliary member.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Senides; father, Perry Fagans; son, Richard Jonas; brothers, Charles Davenport, Vernon Fagans and Jack Fagans; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Rosie Gentry.

Earl is survived by his wife of 35 years, Edith Fagans; son, Darrell Jonas and wife, Tonie; daughters, Donna Proffitt and husband, James, and Valorie Elton and husband, Keith; sisters, Athena Kitchen and husband, David, Ruby Berkley and Wanda Nelson; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport from 5-8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Roy Morelock officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
