Eastlee Vaughn

Eastlee Vaughn, 87, of Church Hill, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 24, 2025 surrounded by her loving family while holding the hand of Sherrill, the love of her life. Eastlee was a member of Walnut Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. After a lifetime of working in several industries, she found profound joy in spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and working in her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rome Dale and Iva Marie Ball Adams; two sisters, three brothers; and special great-grandson, Zachary Beachley.

Eastlee is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Sherrill Vaughn; daughters, Connie Burleson (Jim) and Diane Byrd (Dick); son, Gary Vaughn (Myra); grandchildren, Nikki Beachley (fiancé, Mykal Williams), Allen Byrd (Brandi), Karissa Deal (fiancé, Jason Pennington), Rebecca Burleson, Rachael Burleson, and Sarah Burleson (Isaac Huntoon); nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Adams (Brenda) and Paul Adams (Doris); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1pm – 2pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Ryan Shaffer and Pastor Aaron Edens officiating. Graveside service will be conducted at Walnut Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery following the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Christian Beachley, Kylan Deal, Jason Pennington, Isaac Huntoon, and Ethan and Logan Thompson.

Allen Byrd and Mykal Williams will serve as honorary pallbearers.
