Eddie Dee Tate

Eddie Dee Tate, 64, passed away on March 14, 2024, at his home in Kingsport, TN. Born in Kingsport, he has lived in this area most of his life. He attended Sullivan West High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Eddie worked as an electrician for many years.

Mr. Tate was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Jackson Tate and Mary Annis Miller.

Those left to cherish Eddie’s memory are his wife, Mary “Page” Tate; daughters, Lauren Henry and husband, Cody, Angela Liles and husband, David and Madison Tate; sons, Ezra Tate, Isaac Tate, Christian Tate and wife, Taylor; nine grandchildren, Tristian, Ridlee, Rylan, Rowan, Elizabeth, Aislin, Lilah Rose, Maxton and Maddex ; sisters, Kim (Tim) Isaac, Deanna (Tony) Addington, Jackie (Pat) Clawson and Esther Thacker; brothers, David (Renee) Tate and Steve Miller and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Blountville, TN. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Wayne Baker. A graveside service will be held in the Garden of Avenue of Flags at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park with military rights presented by American Legion Post #3/265.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
