Edna L. Roberts

Edna Roberts, 90 years of age, went to be with Jesus in her Heavenly home, on Saturday June 13, at Holston Valley Medical Center after a short battle with illness. Edna was a lifelong resident of the Fall Branch community. She attended Oak Glen Union church when she was younger. Edna was a woman of great faith and an example to her children and grandchildren, both by blood and by love. She was “Mamaw Edna” to so many and will be greatly missed.

Edna was proceeded in death by her parents, John and Ada Simpson Ryans; husband of 60 years, J. Norris Roberts; son, Jerry Roberts and daughter-in-law, Barbara H. Roberts, and all of her brothers and sisters. Her lifelong best friend Elva Roberts, that she loved so much.

She is survived by three sons, John “Samuel” Roberts (Katy), Jesse “Revie” Roberts (Barbara), Ronnie Roberts; grandchildren, Jodi Roberts Bowling (Brandon), Mikki Roberts Hashbarger Her Baby(Dewey), Becky Roberts Wolfe (Donnie), and Shad Roberts (Andrea); great-grandchildren, Brand, Tia, Tara, Brittney, Ashley, Hayden, Tiffany, Logan, Emily, Ryan and Brayden; great great-grandchildren, Arena, Levi, Ezekiel, Leyland, Weston, Jayda, Aiden, Luca, Dixie, Mason, plus, all of her bonus grandchildren, Adam Dolan, Josh Davenport, Whitney Compton, and Haley Phelps.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Baxter officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Glen Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Josh Davenport, Adam Dolan, Stephen Starnes, Thomas Bowling, Dewey Hashbarger, Chad Barnett, and Donnie Wolfe.
