Elaine Barker

Elaine Barker 60, passed away December 20,2016. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. A 1974 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and an alumni of UT where she was a member of the Pride of the Southland Band, Elaine was a talented musician with a fervent love of the arts. Elaine loved her musical students, her family, and friends, whom she treasured.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas; mother, Ruth; sister, Eleanor; and her wonderful companion, B.J. aka Herr E. Schoodle.

Elaine is survived by her brother Paul (Elizabeth) of Bonifay, Florida.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Kingsport.
